First post in 2012 :)

Hello again!

Can't believe that it will be my first post in 2012. What month is it again? January? What? APRIL?
So, this blog never been updated for approx 4 months? Am I that busy? Busy my arse! Haha!

So here we go..

Well, I'm still a freelancer. No steady job yet and still happy this way anyway. So, I was not that busy. And where was I these whole 4 months? Stayed at the cave and did nothing? Absofuckinlutely no! It's vice versa! I feel so productive instead. Why? Because finally one of my biggest dream came true, running a little business of my own. Culinary business to be exact. Mamiri - The Indonesian Authentic Dessert specialized at Es Pisang Ijo. It's a home made and yes it's made by me with a little lots of help from my partner Mbak Siti. Haha! I feel like I found my passion now. Never been working on something and felt this happy before. This is my dream.Working on my own. You know the feeling when people gave good responses and appreciations to Mamiri? I tell you, it's beyond happy! I feel the tingle in my tummy. Alhamdulillaaah :)

Anyway, Mamiri serves one of the finest Es Pisang Ijo in town *narsis dikit*. Taste it first and compare it to any other Es Pisang Ijo that you ever taste. Then you'll get what I meant :p

And beside running this little business what else did I do? Still the same.. Being a freelancer media relation/publicist. The new thing is I'm currently being a personal manager of Aryo Witjaksonoo, the Indonesia version of John Mayer. Oh, you can hear his upcoming single here *promo dikit :p* and a publicist of Darryl Wezy another local talented musician. Productive enough? Haha. I love my job anyway :)

Us vs Sea Games 2011: Part II

Promised to give you another story of Us vs Sea Games 2011 but it seems soo hard to find the mood to write. Pardon my swinging mood. But since the euphoria of Sea Games 2011 will end any soon, finally I write this following stories..

#1 Badminton Semifinal:
After the-super-failed-day on our first try to watch Sea Games live at GBK, we (me and boyfie) didn't give up and planned to watch Badminton semifinal at Istora Senayan. The first game started at 2.30pm. Plans: Aidil picks me up at my casa around 2pm and will arrived at GBK by 2.30pm or worst case 3pm. Fact:  My slowlyloly Aidil arrived at mine at 3.30pm and due to the effing crazy traffic we arrived at 5.30pm. Classic. It was FRIDAY anyway. No need any explanation for this ya kaaan? Krr. As we get there, we went to the ticket box right away. The guys we met on our way to the tix box told us that Taufik Hidayat was the closing game of the semifinal that day. We asked them,
"So who's the one who currently play?".
"Taufik Hidayat", they replied.
Ngeh? "So do you mean that it's the last game today?"
"Yup. You better go back here tomorrow. Tomorrow is the final"
KYAAAA. Gagal maning gagal maning, son! Well, this time is our own fault anyway.
I asked Aidil, "Have you give up?". He said, "NO WAY! I have to watch the final tomorrow!" Haha. The boy was unyielding! :))


#2 Badminton Final:
As Aidil promised the day before, He planned to watch the final game at Istora and come earlier so that he could get the tix. Since I need to attend my regular discussion with my peer group called Dimensi Talk (will post about it later) that day, I couldn't be there with him. Plans that day: He buy me ticket at Istora, I'll be attending Dimensi Talk first and go to Istora afterwards, then we both go to TMII to attend my bestfriend's wedding. All arranged in such a way.. Suddenly, in the middle of my discussion, Aidil text me said that it didn't necessary for me to go there cause he couldn't get the ticket. ALL SOLD OUT. Geez. AGAIN? We failed again?? Seriously, what's wrong with youu Sea Games 2011? Why it seemed like we never destined to watch you live at GBK? Why? Why? Why? Aidil was sooooo upset. He wanted to watch it badly. Huhu. There was only one chance left, the football final: Indonesia vs Malaysia. I asked boyfie whether he still wanted to watch it at GBK or not? And surprisingly he said "I don't know. I feel like giving up". Hahah. The boy finally gave up!

We end up watched the game separately. Me with some mates at ruangrupa while Aidil watched it at his own room all alone. Turned out it was a lot more fun! Seriously! We watched it peacefully without the overcrowding thingy and worried about or own safety. Anyway, the game went really tight. Both team played great! But unfortunately, the football champion was given to Malaysia. I'm still thinking that it was just the luck considered that we lost by the penalty. And Garuda Muda still got my pride. They all another version of heroes, don't you think?

Anyway, I heard the sad news about Indonesia's supporters who passed away. They get trampled by thousands people at GBK. One of them is Reno Alvino the additional drummer of D.O.T band. My deep condolences goes out to the family. From this case, I realized that maybe we weren't destined to watch it live at GBK for our own sake. It could've be me or my boyfriend who get trampled by thousands of peoples there. I'm thanking you dear Almighty. Your plan is such a mystery.

Us vs Sea Games 2011: Part #1

If Sea Games 2011 and Us (me and boyfie) are analogous as a relationship, then we would never meant to be! I have no idea, what's with Sea Games and Us? What did we do wrong? Why the hell did you seem like hate us a looooot?

So, these past few days, Me and boyfie were really excited with this whole Sea Games thingies. I mean, it's a huge annual sports event involving 11 countries from ASEAN that held once in two years, did we have enough reasons to be THAT excited with this? Oh, and don't you think that this kinda event could lifted up people's nationality, instantly? I mean 150ish gold medals? 1st position beyond another 10 countries by far? What could you ask more to be a proud Indonesian? Me and boyfie were really proud to be the witness to the history. Oh well, don't you all feel the same way? And after these whole time been fairly satisfied to just watch it on TV, we planned to watch it live at GBK Senayan. You never know when will Indonesia get a turn to be an official host of Sea Games again, ayte? So, this is the time, this is our chance. Well, I used to watched it live when I was kid with my family but my poor boyfie never *puk puk*. Frankly, me and boyfie were just excited to watch badminton and football. Who's not anyway? :p

It was Thursday, 17th November when our national football team competed against our all-time-rival Malaysia. Boyfie got a ticket to watch it on GBK but unfortunately He just got one.. Then He planned to buy another tix for Me as we got there. We met at our campus after I've done my work at ruangrupa then went to GBK right away. It was a bit late actually and I was doubtful that I'd get the ticket. I knew how packed GBK was from the TV news I watched before. But boyfie said that it wasn't as bad as it seemed. Turned out it was THAT bad. GBK was really packed with people wearing red and white tees who were ready to give their huge supports to Indonesia as much as we did. I told him to get in since he got the ticket already and I knew how bad he wants to watch it. But he strongly refused to. He said that he wants to get in as long as I'm with him. Oh, how sweet my man :')

After a long search, finally boyfie got a ticket for me but too bad we didn't allowed to get in cause the gatekeeper said that the stadium was shaking due to the overload people. We were like WHATT? This giant stadium could shake? Then why did you sell those tickets if you can't accommodate as many as it sold? Oh, so Indonesian! I knew boyfie was deeply upset but he didn't show it to me yet made a fun video with his iPod instead. We acted as if we were live reporting from the venue. Hahahah. Stupid! I'll post the video soon.. Oh, and we ended up watch the match at FX's atrium.

There was a giant screen with loads of people sat in the floor wore read and white tees as if they watched it inside the stadium. I bet these people had similar experience with us. Haha. Unfortunately, the game ended with frustrating score. Malaysia beat Indonesia with 1 goal! Booooo! At that time we were thankful that we didn't watch it inside the stadium since we knew how chaos and riot it would be.

Anyway, there was an exhibition of Sea Games Lego. They were sooooo cute like uberrrr cute! Lalalalove it! At least the disappointment of the losing a bit healed by this :)

It was getting late then we decided to leave and found something to eat. Me and boyfie were walking hand by hand made stupid jokes and laugh hard, act like we've forgotten the disappointment. All went well until we got into the parking area and found that boyfie's helmet weren't there. Someone stole it and the security parking acted like it's none of his problem. Crap! How come it's none of your problem? You were the one who responsible for all this. That's why it's called "Secure Park" isn't it? Boyfie was soo upset on the way home. Poor honeybee :(

Though we failed at our first try, we didn't gave up. We did the second try to watch Badminton semifinal live at Istora Senayan. I'll post the next story! Xx

A day full of happiness #1: Zoo

It was a cloudy afternoon while Me and my Boyfie decided to visit our big family at the Ragunan Zoo. Hahah. It was truly spontaneous idea. I supposed to go to ruangrupa for a meeting, turns out it was cancelled. And instead of eating-sleeping-doing-nothing-increasing-belly-fat at home I asked my Boyfie to catch up today. Since none of us are having a steady job yet and considered that we've spent soo much time together lately, so we've reach the pathetic phase of life, BOKEK. Hahah. It was kinda hard to decide where-to-go with this limited budget we had. Then I came up with an idea "Why don't we go to the Zoo?" and boyfie liked the idea. Yippie yeay! So, Ragunan.. here we coomeee! :D

Fyi, my house is in Jagakarsa which is really nearby Ragunan. It just took about 5 mins to go there by car or motorcycle. But believe it or not, I haven't visited the zoo NOT even once since I lived here for approx 3 years. Hahah. I usually came to Ragunan just to take Transjakarta to go to my-used-to-be campus. Planned to get in there many times but it was never happened. And on this one random day, I'm finally here..

We arrived at the Zoo at 4ish. Yeah, I know it was a bit too late knowing that it will closed by 6. But since it was a totally spontaneous idea, so I thought 2 hours is enough.. Before we came to the locket, we saw the price list board and you know whatt? It's just cost 4.500 idr for one person? This is no joke, aite? Then I looked at my boyfie in the eyes and said "We made a good decision!". A-ha! The most surprisingly thing was when we came to the locket and we found no one there. Not even one.. All locket was closed but the gate was widely open. So we don't need to pay anything? Huaaaaaa.. It's even better! Woohoooo! You know the feeling when you're totally broke and suddenly the universe conspires? Hihih. Alhamdulillah :D

As we entered the zoo I planned to take some pics with Zebra and Deer for the fashion purpose. Silly eh? But I really love to see Zebra printed clothes and Deer shaped rings. Then Boyfie asked me, "so don't you want to see Leopard either?" Hahah. You know me so well dehh! Luckily I found a cute little deer but sadly I couldn't found the Zebra. So, I took some picts with it's statue instead :p

We also planned to see Leopard and White Tiger.. but unfortunately on our way there, we met the Zookeeper who said that most of the wild animals had been putted in the cage for the safety sake. Huhu too bad :( So, we decided to leave the Zoo since we've seen all the not-so-wild animals that left. But we planned to go back there a bit earlier at another time. Hopefully, soon!

Although we just spent a little time there but we had soo much fun. We proved that we don't always need to spend much for dating. Bored with movie date or dinner date at the Mall? This could be an alternative date for you and your boo! Till we meet again, animals! We'll catch you back soon (hopefully)!

WAZZUPPP!

Hey, WUZZUPPP! seems like the best words to start this post.

Geez it's been a year already since my last post. What's with this on and off blog? Ha-ha!
I'm not that busy anyway.. It's just the mood. Yeaah, I blame you dear effin swinging mood! The worst part is when I was trying to log on to this blogger account, shockingly I FORGOT the password. YES and it is not the first time Google need to re-new my password. I hope it's gonna be the very last time since I'm using the same password as my boyfriend's *tricky :p

Oh well, I just cut my hair off. Not another trim or simple layer, I literally CUT it off. It's no longer a long-messy-hair. It's extremely short now. Err. not that extreme actually, but for me IT IS!

Voila! This is my new look. And you know whaaattt? This is my very first time getting my hair cut without any drama and tears. No joke! Hahah!

Niwey, I posted my photo with my new haircut on twitter and the responses was beyond my expectation. Most of em said that I look more mature, fresher, edgy-er, skinnier and all those good things. Thou some of them told me that my long-messy-hair still fits me best. Oh, and even my Mom said so. She hates it like really hate. She didn't want to talk with me right after I showed up with this extremely short hair for the first time.

But you know what's really matter? My Boyfriend. And yess He loves it sooo. He gave me his giant smile when He saw me walking out of the saloon with this new haircut. That's it. As long as He loves it, I don't really care about what others think. Hihi.

One fine random day :)

It was my first day at RuRu and suddenly my bestie Raben asked me to pick me up there and planned to spend quality time at my casa. Yes, he's such a sweetheart. Turns out Rebecca also wants to join us but has to finish some stuffs first. So, the plan changed. While waiting till Rebecca done her things, Me and Benyi were walking around the "GAUL" spots of teenagers at Tebet. Come to one distro to another. The risk of hanging out with my super gaul bestie is.. he meets his friends like everywhere *sigh. So, we end up at Tebet Junction or what so ever to meet up with Raben's friends and finally back to RuRu to pick Rebecca up. Turns out she has invitations to Media Gathering of Free Magazine and Hers Magazine. It was Free Magz's 9th anniversary and Hers Magz's 7th anniversary.

So here we are at Bibliotheque (typo?) Sampoerna Strategic for Free Magz and Hers Magz media gathering with a super crappy outfit. I have no idea that we're going to a big event that requires us to be dress up. I was wearing my loose yet 'lusuh' t-shirts, jeans and flats. What could be more crappy then this? *sigh. And seems like everyone there were dress up properly. It makes me feel completely uncomfy. Luckily, we met Mas Upay and Dhydha from OZ Radio Jakarta (I got my interns there) so I could feel way better. Oh well, seems like every media was there. It's another new experience for me.

Anyway, there was a 'tweet competition' at the time. So, the guests have to tweet mentioning @freemagz and @hers_magz anniversary as creative as they could be. And surprisingly the lucky man Raben won the competition and got lots of gifts and vouchers. They are Havaianas sandals, Pots Meets Pop denim jacket, Vouchers from Tribute, Penny and Snowbay. Arrrrgh.. Massive envy!

Since the gift from Pots Meets Pop was denim jacket for ladies, Raben asked me to wear it and said that it was look good on me. Then he gave me the jacket. Ahh.. told ya! He's such a sweetheart :)

Another random thing is I finally get to know Karina Soegarda in person. She's my favorite announcer since I was in Junior Hi-school. I used to listen to her show "Chill Out" on Mtv Trax like every single day. She's Rebecca's bestfriend. And she's a really friendly one. Turns out we live in the same neighbourhood and she got no ride to get home. So, I offered her a ride and she said YES! "Whatt? Karina Soegarda my favorite announcer will ride in my car?". And after I drive her home (My Mom actually), I got an email notification from twitter said that "Karina Soegarda is now following you on twitter". Oh, What a night!

Dear Lord, thanks for today. It was one fine random day. I even could sleep with a big smile now :) :)

New job ; New experience(s)

When I've been stressed out by the fantastic numbers of my matrix bill, all of sudden, a friend of mine Rebecca Theodora offered me a job to help her at RuangRupa gallery as Media Staff. I was going like, "You've got to be kidding me. GIVE ME THE JOB!". Well, frankly it's not a real job. It's more like a volunteer. I still get paid but not in a huge number.

So, RuRu is going to celebrate it's 10th anniversary. The theme is "Expanding The Space and Public". There will be a lot of events in the term of November to January. One of the biggest events is Jakarta 32. It's an art exhibition consists of visual, videos, fashions, photos and lots more. I'm here as a Media staff who responsible for all kind of publication either to media or to public. And it ain't an easy job. But dealing with media(s) isn't a new thing for me since I was working at Lockermedia as Media and Promotion. The new thing is.. I'm working with some of my Idols. I could never imagine that I will work in a same room with Ale and Ricky from Whiteshoes and The Couples Company, Batman and Oomleo from Goodnight Electric and lots more. It such a new experience for me. A great one.

Yesterday was my first day. And I was going like "Err.. I"m an alien. I have no friends". The only persons that know me are just Oomleo and Rebecca. But then again, it always happens in every 'first day', ryte? Hopefully as time goes by I will adapt with this new environment. Wish me luck, folks!

Hell-o again!

It's been a year since my last post. Wasn't blog supposed to be a daily report of it's owner? Turns out it's more like a yearly report for me, eh? Blame on the 'anget-anget-tai-ayam' mood. Haha.
But I promise my self to update it at least once a month. Well, I easily promised yet easily broke it. Hopefully not this one. Notes!

So, what so cool to share, Ndaw? Does 2010 treat you well? IT DOES! This year is absofuckinlutely my year. Too many blessings. Too many happiness. Between those tons of blessings and happiness, I got 2 big transformation in 2010.

After those years being a single fighter, after those struggling years, after the long wait I'm (finally) officially Aidil Akbar's. He's such a worth to wait anyway *lots to share. will do later ;)

27 September 2010:

After those struggling months dealing with books, theories, and lots lots lotsa papers, I proudly pronounce myself as Gyanda Indah Kartika Agtyani, S.Si :)

My Graduation day will be held in December. Hope it will end my 2010 perfectly with my perfect man as the companion.

SO, I HAVE A BLOG ALREADY?

i did almost forgot that i already had my own blog. oh, it was just two years ago anyway.
maybe i really need gibolan or something. yeah, soon i will.

since like everybody seems to start blogging, i start to think that maybe i should.
i mean, am really love to share my thoughts, my stories, my feelings by writing.
those who has follow me on twitter have known that kinda things.
my tweets are really based on my feelings. sad, happy, mad, confused, sick it's all written there.
until one day, some friends told me that they likes to read my tweets. they said that i have a sense of writing, am i? and they suggest me to start blogging instead of share it on twitter that just limited to 140 characters. it's even shorter than a SMS. but you know, the hardest part of all is to START. i mean, start to create a new account on blogger, start to think what should i write then, and those another "start" things that makes me going like "SHOULD I?" yeah, you can call me the super lazy one now. cause, i am. haha. the super lazy and stubborn girl.

but surprisingly i found THIS! i found it on my bestfriend's blog Kara, the one who made me start to create this blog (you can read my very-first-pathetic-post. but please just skip the ending, it was damn pathetic. haha). it's on her other blogs list. and i was shockingly said "SO, I HAVE A BLOG ALREADY?" that means i dont have to create a new one. yiipii yaaiy yeayy *dancing.

i was reading my post(s) before. actually i've only wrote two posts :p and when i read it, i start to flashback and think, am i that pathetic back then? haha. then i realize that it was a very hard year for me when i create this blog. and i'm so thankful that i have passed all that shits. you can find my happy faces now that you would never found at that time. yeah, time heals. i've leave it all behind. including that shitty dial up connection with shitty annoying voice. HAHA. i have my own hotspot on my home now. too many changes that happened in almost two years. positive changes.

so, from now on.. i think i will start to blogging (again). well, that's still maybe :p
i was thinking to turn it into a fashion blog. because that's one of my biggest dreams. i'm a fashion blogs reader and fashion is being my biggest passion lately (beside music of course). and based on those successfully fashion blogger, i was inspired to do such things.
but haven't got enough materials now. so, we'll see. and hello everyone! i'm back :)

I NEED SOME HOLIDAY

huahh. stelah post gw yg pertama, sudah lama durja gag meng-update blog ini.
kenapa? ada beberapa penyebab sbenarnya. diantaranya adalah :

1. belive it or not while org2 udh menggunakan teknologi adsl bahkan cable atau malah hotspot pribadi gw msh menggunakan tekhnologi dial-up untuk internet d rmh.
(ok2, gw kasih jeda waktu untuk menghina atau dekedar ketawa ngenye.) dan hal inilah yg serta merta bkin gw suka males ber-internet ria d rumah. krna untuk bs connect sj hrus melalui suara tatitut tatitut lau diiringi dgn suara kresek2 yg ganggu nya mahadaya dahsyat deh.

2. kesibukan yg mahadaya dahsyat jg. krna di saat sahabat2 gw sdg menikmati liburan panjang mreka, ataw beberapa dr mreka sdg menunggu detik2 menuju liburan panjang itu.. gw hrs dgn relanya masuk seperti byasa ke kampus. boro2 liburan, uas aja blum dimulai. huh. x(

nah, selain kegiatan kuliah yg membosankan krna ketidakberadaan penyemangat kampus (baca: lelaki) skrg gw jg disibukkan dgn persiapan menuju teatro taunan kampus gw yg bertitle "Moulin Rouge" huhu.
mungkin akan berbeda critanya kl gw jd main cast . tp peran gw adalah sbagai invisible women.
wah, keren ya? tp knp invisible ya?
jwbnnya karena gw hanya akan ada di stage saat lights off dan blackout.
yap. benar sekali.. saya hanyalah stage crew yg bertugas saat lampu di padamkan.
mungkin terdengar keren. STAGE CREW.
tp pekerjaanya jauh dr kata keren. ngangkat meja, kursi, dan properti lain yg dibutuhkan oleh pr pemain. (ok, saya kasih jeda waktu lagi untuk mnghina atau sekedar tertawa ngenye)
but i enjoy my job. kliatan keren aja wktu mondar-mandir bw2 HT. hahaa.

belum selesai sampai disitu. kepenatan gw blum lengkap tanpa tugas2 yg mahadaya anyinggg.
dengan rincian:
-tugas interview pshycologic communication, deadline : selasa besok.
-tugas journalism investigation, deadline : kamis besok.
-tugas basic management accounting, deadline : rabu besok.
-tugas photography low light + PSA, deadline : sabtu besok.
-tugas sociology communication ttg gay/lesbi, deadline : senin besok.
wait, waitt.. SENIINN?? well, that means BESOKK ??
dan skrg jam 11 dini hari gw dgn santainya malah nulis blok?!!
